Black Citizens Brigade is one of my favorite shops for incredible vintage clothing. I always enjoy browsing and shopping the collection at pop-ups in the area and was so excited to visit the brick and mortar! You can feel the thought and detail gone into the curation of the collection and space(even down to the vintage speakers). It’s like walking into a special piece of history. It brings an incredible presence that is needed in the Syracuse area and I am looking forward to returning!

Vintage with the heritage intact. Wonderful selection to fit a modest to upscale budget. If you're a niche collector of 50's 60's clothing this is a must. The varsity collection is the best I've seen in years.

10/10 shopping experience! Great vibes and I enjoyed chatting with the owner. The vintage clothing section was fire. I wish I had had more time to check out the books and other goods as well. It's a thoughtful, well-curated shop and well worth a stop!
